Risk Management - Employee Injuries

OVERVIEW

The District is permissibly self-insured for workers' compensation coverage through its membership in the Contra Costa County Schools Insurance Group (CCCSIG) in Pleasant Hill. 

Whenever an employee knows, or believes, they were injured while performing work for the District, they need to report that injury to (1) their direct supervisor, and (2) District Risk Management immediately, or as soon as is practicable in exigent circumstances.
